Christmastime and a 3 year old

Happy Holidays! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! We were quite busy between Christmas, a birthday the day after, and then a trip to Utah the day after that. We finally got home on New Years Day, only to be celebrating the Wagar Christmas with my dad's family.
We were lucky enough to get to go to Utah to see Brandon's family, and all 8 McEwen kids and their families and Grandmas Lori and Nino all got to stay under one roof thanks to Autumn and Allie and their Minute to Win it earnings! Thanks guys, we had soo much fun and love you all to pieces!
There was more snow than I've ever seen in my life!
Jaxson J turned 3 years old the day after Christmas His cake is supposed to be a whale...however I envisioned it better in my head.Jagger Tait is 3.5 months old already! So happy (if he's held all day long) and unfortunately still sick after a week on the nebulizer and a week of antibiotics :-(
But we made it through the chaos, had a blast along the way, and we wish you all a wonderful 2011!!

2 months old!

Another month gone by. Jagger is getting bigger and is so much fun. He already has such a sweet little personality, smiling, laughing, and cooing all the time. I am so thankful for his little dimples too..I LOVE them! But, he is still learning how to sleep since he always wants to be touching someone while he sleeps. He's a good cuddler though. Anyway, here he is at 2 months: 12 lbs 6 oz. (he's a skinny guy), 24.5 inches long.
Here are some adorable pictures that my cousin Elaina took of Jag (and Jax) when he was just a week old!

To Infinity and Beyond!!!

Buzz Lightyear had a wonderful 3 days of Halloween! We had trunk-or-treat at my church on Friday night, then we had trunk-or treat at my parent's ward on Saturday night, then we handed out candy (and I took Jax to our neighbor's house to trick-or-treat) on Sunday! He looked so cute in his costume and he loved saying "To infinny beeyon"! Of course, he got waayyy to much candy, so we handed out what he didn't need to the trick-or-treaters that came to our house (and then I stole everything he "didn't need" or "wouldn't like". Just kidding, except I kinda did do that...but hey, that's my payment for taking him trick-or-treating, right?

"To Infinny Beeyon!"

As if you need cotton candy on Halloween?? There was someone with a cotton candy machine at trunk-or-treat (Thanks Mayfields).
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house with cousins Tayson and Kamri to make spider cookies, caramel popcorn and other fun treats! Thanks Grandma!
Don't worry, I'm not letting a 2-year old and 5-year-old hold up my baby on the stairs (I'm laying down hiding actually holding him up. It was quite a challenge though).
My cute little ferocious lion. Jaxson at preschool with his teacher Ms. Michelle for his Halloween party!

1 month old!

I can't believe it has almost been 6 weeks since Jagger was born! Time flies! 2 kids has been much easier than I expected, and I am grateful for that (probably because my baby actually sleeps, and eats, and poops like all babies should, unlike when Jax was a baby). I am still sane!
He has been a good little baby and we just love him to pieces! But, don't get me wrong, we have our ridiculous moments when I have a screaming baby and a crazy, emotional, toddler (whose got quite an attitude-just like his mom, unfortunately), but I guess I still can't complain (only because today is not one of those ridiculous days). Anyway, here's a look at the first 6 weeks.
Jagger at 1 month:
11 lbs. 4.5ozs., 23 inches
Jaxson absolutely adores his brother (thank goodness)!

Now, what do you think? Do Jax and Jag look alike...

Introducing Jagger Tait McEwen

He's finally here! Baby Jagger was born on his due date, September 18th at 4:16 am. He weighed 9 lbs. 11 oz and was 21 inches long. We're so grateful everything went perfectly and our little boy is healthy and is such a sweet baby. Here I am pacing the floor in between contractions. Then came baby Jag.
Jaxson stayed the night and Grandma and Grandpa's house and came to meet his baby brother the next morning. He was sooo excited!
Brandon is such a good daddy. He loves his boys.
Sweet baby...we love you!

First day of school

So, I know that Jaxson is not quite 3, but I decided to put him in preschool this year anyway (more for the opportunity to be around other kids than anything). Yes, this may mean that he will attend preschool for like 9 years before kindergarten, but at least he should know his ABC's right? Anyway, today was his first day and he did great! It was almost sad how well he did, because he didn't miss me at all! I was so proud of him for what a big boy he was, and he think he's going to love it (especially since he has been telling every person he sees for the past 2 weeks that he's going to school). My little boy is getting so big!!
